This is the 1:43 scale die-cast replica of the Lamborghini LP 640 car comes in an orange metallic paint job. The "Murciélago" was named for a fighting bull that survived 24 sword strokes in an 1879 fight at the 'Coso de los califas' bullring in Cordoba, Spain. The bull fought with such passion and spirit that the matador chose to spare its life, a rare honor. The bull was later presented as a gift to Don Antonio Miura, a noted local breeder whose Miura fighting bull ranch and Gallardo caste of bulls provided the names for two other Lamborghini cars. Murciélago is the Spanish name for a flying mammal, the bat. For 2006, the Murciélago's V12 was upgraded to a displacement of 6.5 litres. Second-generation cars are known by the model designation 'LP640.' The LP640 version was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2006 and its price rests at more than $300,000. LP stands for Italian language Longitudine Posteriore, referring to the longitudinally-mounted 6.5L V12 engine. The car delivers a top speed of 340 km/h with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.4 seconds. This is achieved with a 12-cylinder V60 engine with displacement increased to 6496cc and a maximum power of 471 kW at 8000rpm. To control this powerful super car, LP640 features a brake system with huge front and rear discs, bigger than in most other sports cars. In addition, the optional Carbon ceramic brakes feature six-piston brake calipers.
The classic Lamborghini styling was also applied to this model. The scissor doors rotate vertically, as in the rest of the Murciélago series. Revised front and rear bumpers give the car a more aggressive, motor sports look and feel, while the exhausts are incorporated within the diffuser on the rear bumper. The rear-view mirrors and the windscreen wipers were modified to improve aerodynamics and Hermera light metal wheel rims were included. The interior is a thorough reworking, with revised graphics on the instrument panel. The seats are not only bigger but also feature redesigned head restraints.

"I absolutely love buying from you guys. I've been a customer for about 10 years or more. And I have purchased 100s of Funko Pops and LDD Dolls. Not 1 single item have I ever received that wasn't mint. My only issue is that I've only received a Chase version twice. I know it's random luck, so it has not swayed my decision to keep buying from you, and if necessary, it's absolutely simple to cancel an item. Entertainment Earth is amazing!!!!!"
