To commemorate the 40th anniversary of The Transformers, Takara-Tomy and Hasbro have the DCS! Under the Dramatic Capture Series, Transformers characters return with a premium finish based on the original cartoon series. This set includes Shockwave, Soundwave with Laserbeak, and Megatron with a big purple Decepticon throne.

This is a special scene set that portrays the Decepticon emperor of destruction Megatron, seated on the Captain's seat in the bridge of the Decepticon space battleship Nemesis, flanked by Shockwave and Soundwave and they've never looked better. Megatron features a silver-painted finish that enhances the metallic feel, Shockwave's color scheme has been changed to match the color image from the animated series, and Soundwave incorporates more silver paint and prominent red accents to evoke a real gadgetry feel. Additionally, one Laserbeak cassette can be stored in Soundwave's chest and is included. The Captain's seat where Megatron sits adds a sense of presence, allowing you to imagine their actions on the Nemesis's bridge. Ages 15 and up.
