Composed by the legendary John Williams and newly restored and remastered by Mike Matessino from the original studio elements, this definitive edition features the full Academy Award-winning score exactly as heard in the 1975 film—unlike the re-recorded Grammy-winning album released that same year.
Pressed on two 180g black vinyl records at 45 RPM for optimal sound quality, this release is housed in a collectible, display-ready shark fin pop-up jacket, tucked inside an O-card slipcase with a striking gold metallic bellyband and interchangeable inner sleeves. With art direction and packaging design by Alan Hynes, design direction by Nolan Fleming, and liner notes by Matessino, this 50th anniversary pressing is both a sonic and visual tribute to Spielberg's cinematic classic, approved by Williams himself and essential for any serious film score collector.
