Before the sunny beaches of Baywatch, David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff patrolled the streets as Michael Knight, with his trusted vehicle the Knight Industries Two Thousand. KITT was no ordinary Pontiac Trans-Am. No sirree. This black beauty was heavily modified with numerous features, including an extremely durable shell and frame, and control by a computer with artificial intelligence. The car used as KITT in the TV series was a customized 1982 Pontiac Trans-Am sports model that cost US $100,000 to build!
