The game features 40mm pre-painted figurines of characters based upon their likenesses in the Lord of The Rings trilogy of feature films. The fast, intuitive Combat Hex rules system allows players to create the action and adventure of the films - experiencing the exciting battle of Moria, Helm's Deep, The Pelennor Fields, and much more - in around half an hour or less.

This is the starter set for The Lord of the Rings TMG. It contains everything two players need to sit down and start playing the game right away. 8 figures, 4 dice,double sideded map (17x17 40mm hex) and rules sheet. This starter set contains 4 figures that can only be found in this starter set - starter versions of Aragorn, Frodo, Lurtz and Ringwraith. Additionally there is a bonus base representing Frodo Wearing the One Ring! (Subject to change.)
