LOTR Mini-Helmets #2 Case:

From Sideshow/WETA's Lord of The Rings Mini-Helmets, Series 2 Case. These cast metal helms (helmets) are exact 1:4 scale miniatures of the helmets used in "Fellowship of the Ring," the first film in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. They have been expertly recreated by the same metalsmiths who made the full scale pieces for the films. Each sits on a classically turned pedestal that includes the name of the helm and the sculptor's signature. This case of 12 helmets includes: 3x Gimli's Helm, 3x High Elven War Helm, 3x Numenorean Infantry Helm, 3x Orc Iron Cap Helm. (Subject to change.)

Gimli's Helm: Gimli the Dwarf's helm was comprised of interlocking plates of a range of metals and leather,finely crafted with the dependable Dwarven meticulousness for which his people were renown.

High Elven War Helm: Worn by the great host of High Elves who gathered to oppose the evil of the Dark Lord, Sauron, in the Second Age. The tall Elven war helms were of an ancient, elegant design, fashioned by the master Elf smiths of old.

Numenorean Infantry Helm: The noble and sturdy helms of King Elendil's Numenorean army, in the Second Age, bore proudly, the stars and sea birds' wings of their culture's heraldry.

Orc Iron Cap: The Dark Lord, Sauron's evil Orcs were forever imaginative in devising cruel new weapons and defenses. While some were elaborate, many in the Second Age bore, to protect their low, filthy scalps, simple caps of hammered iron.
