MLB Jersey- Roy Campanella "Three-Time N.L. MVP":From 1948 to ’57, Roy Campanella was the heart and soul of the Brooklyn Dodgers. A feisty catcher who stood just 5’ 8” tall, “Campy” was a player who led by example. During his Hall of Fame career, which was cut short by a tragic auto accident that left him paralyzed prior to the 1958 season, Campanella would help the Dodgers reach five World Series during his tenure, including winning the 1955 Fall Classic against the vaunted New York Yankees. Upper Deck salutes the seven-time All-Star and three-time N.L. MVP (1951, ’53 and ‘55) with this beautifully designed Legendary Numbers Collection keepsake that showcases 6” replica jersey numbers of his uniform No. 39.
