Barkley played a pivotal role in the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX victory, contributing 57 rushing yards and 40 receiving yards in the championship game. His performance set a new NFL record for total scrimmage yards in a single season, including playoffs, with 2,857 yards. In March 2025, Barkley signed a two-year, $41.2 million contract extension with Philadelphia, solidifying his status as a cornerstone of the Eagles' offense.
