Just about everyone recognizes a T-Rex when they see it. The 40-foot long, 23-foot tall Tyrannosaurus rex was a two-legged predator and an absolutely imposing sight with its massive skull and nearly 8-inch teeth. The one we offer you here is not quite that large, but it's equally impressive. This highly detailed Schleich Dinosaur Roaring T-Rex Collectible Figure measures approximately 11-inches long x 5 1/2-inches tall and boasts a movable jaw! It's a must for any dinosaur collection.
The Tyrannosaurus rex looked very menacing, but it was hardly capable of using it short front legs equipped with two claws, as they could not even reach its mouth. At nearly seven meters in height and thirteen meters long, the T-Rex was probably not a particularly good hunter, but rather a scavenger that fed on what other animals left behind. It had over fifty teeth measuring over 15 cm in length, but it didn't use them to chew, but to tear, swallowing its food in large pieces. To better perceive depth while hunting for food, the eyes of the Tyrannosaurus rex were pointed forward, allowing the field of vision of its eyes to overlap.
