The parts are injected in the authentic gray color used in the original filming miniature and includes clear parts that are perfect for lighting. Paint is optional (sold separately). The kit features a snap-together assembly. The model also includes Khan's Botany Bay spaceship from the famous episode, "Space Seed." The model also includes a dome base with metal rod support and a water-slide decal sheet with all the ship's markings or various identification registries. The Star Trek: The Original Series U.S.S.
