The All Terrain Attack Pod (AT-AP) is a 3-legged evolution of the AT-PT walker. Considered a tank destroyer/assault gun, it usually plays a support role. Its 2 primary legs are used for walking, while the third leg hangs underneath the fuselage, to be extended during combat to help stabilize the walker when it aims and fires its main cannon or when it crosses uneven terrain.
