Dastardly villain Count Dooku from Star Wars, what more should we say? Whether it was his amazing battle with Yoda, his nefarious dealings with the Geonosians or his hidden secret - that of being a Jedi who'd been corrupted by the dark side, becoming a Dark Sith Lord - Darth Tyranus! Count Dooku, behind Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader was one of the most powerful characters from Star Wars. Clearly his history indicates a past as evil as it was impressively manipulative and complex, even outwitting the Jedi Council. Even in death, Count Dooku played an influential role in bringing Anakin Skywalker to the dark side - and this was a guy who trained under Yoda and had Qui-Gon Jinn as a pupil!
We'd love to tell you that the hilt of Count Dooku's saber is bent, but really it's crooked by design. An elegant and precise fighter, Dooku was well-schooled in the Makashi form of saber combat technique. This lightsaber certainly contains design elements that are indicative of the control needed to exhibit this advanced discipline, and the red blade would indicate a Star Wars baddie! This re-creation is for costuming, however, NOT for fighting the forces of good (no matter how angry you are). Battery powered (sorry, 2x "AA" batteries not included), the blade telescopes out to over 3-feet in length.
