Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo Katana Limited Edition Prop Replica:Leonardo (Leo) is the oldest of his brothers and the leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He wields the katana sword with expert skill. Copied directly from the original props used in the production of the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, this museum-quality replica has been hand-crafted to deliver a replica of exceptional collectibility. Factory Entertainment's development team spent many hours scrutinizing the original props and production reference from the film to ensure absolute accuracy, creating the world's first replica of a signature weapon featured in a Ninja Turtles movie. The replica has a total length of 41 1/2-inches long. The blade measures 28-inches long of forged of high-carbon steel and has a full-tang. The blade collar is brass-alloy and the blade is gracefully curved with a kissaki point/tip. The hilt features a corded wrapping in Leo's signature blue, with white reproduction ray-skin beneath and eight cast metal turtle-shaped menuki/ornaments. The tsuba/guard is also cast metal and features a turtle shell motif. The pommel is cast metal and features an embedded reproduction stone. The carved hardwood scabbard with an enamel paint outer coating and six cast metal turtle ornaments. The collar and end are also cast metal. All metal ornaments and fittings on this replica are finished with an aged brass effect. The blade is highly polished and features and Iaito-style dull blade edge. The Leonardo Katana Prop Replica is supplied in a full color presentation box and includes a numbered certificate of authenticity. A limited edition of just 600 pieces!
