Ancient, powerful and wise, Galaxy Force Vector Prime has survived all through the long age of his existence through more than mere power. Granted the ability to travel through time and across dimensions, Galaxy Force Vector Prime has left echoes of himself throughout the past and future of countless dimensions. Though his appearance often shifts along with the dimensions through which he passes, he remains always the same - loyal, honest and devoted to the cause of justice. Though he may sacrifice himself in one incarnation, Galaxy Force Vector Prime will always exist, and will always rise whenever the universe is threatened.
He is known by many names, though Soundwave is his most well-known one, and the one that inspires fear in Autobot and Decepticons alike. One of the mightiest, most straightforward warriors from Planet X, Soundwave is nonetheless a devastatingly subtle plotter. He prefers not to stab his victims in the back only because he enjoys the look of betrayal in their eyes. Highly skilled in the techniques of espionage, he never enters battle without the knowledge he needs to win. His companion Laserbeak, equipped with a cloaking device, is able to infiltrate even the most well-guarded facilities.
Quick-thinking, intuitive and totally loyal to the Giant Planet and its inhabitants, Quickmix serves as right hand mech to Metroplex. It is he who first confronts Menasor over the evil robot's betrayal of the Giant Planet's traditions, and who encourages Metroplex to avoid becoming involved in the affairs of the Autobots. He rarely fights, preferring his role as a builder and repairman, but when the safety of his home world is threatened, he never backs down.
With dark power coursing through his circuitry, his might in battle is nearly unmatched, but Dark Crumplezone is just as dumb as ever. Being dead gave him a mean streak a mile wide, and getting put back together by the otherworldly power of Galvatron gave him the weaponry he needed. What he can't smash through, he knocks down, and what he can't knock down he pulverizes with his forward plasma ejector cannons. He's too dumb to be a real threat to the Autobots, but Galvatron is content to just set him loose on the battlefield and see what he can blast before the Autobots shut him down.
