Kids of all ages love these cute-as-can-be multicolored bears originally painted by artist Elena Kucharik in 1981 for greeting cards from American Greetings. In 1983, Kenner turned the Care Bears into plush teddy bears, and these days you'll find them as enamel pins, magnets, Pop! and other vinyl figures, in games, on backpacks, and more. Each Care Bear is a different color and has a special belly badge that represents its personality. Hence, you have Cheer Bear, Good Luck Bear, Tenderheart Bear, Love-A-Lot Bear, Grumpy Bear, Share Bear, and many others, including themed bears such as Birthday Bear and Trick-or-Sweet Bear. The Care Bears are so popular that they've been featured in their own TV series, feature films, books, comics, and video games. Care Bears are absolutely adorable, and you'll have fun playing with or collecting them to your heart's content!
