AFI
AFI (short for “A Fire Inside”) is an American punk rock band formed in 1991 by Davey Havok (vocals), Mark Blackwelder (guitar), Vic Chalker (bass), and Adam Carson (drums) in Ukiah, California. Vic lost interest and was replaced by Geoff Kresge who later left to be part of the band Tiger Army, and Hunter Burgan filled the spot. Eventually, Jade Puget from Loose Change replaced guitarist Mark Blackwelder. AFI’s intense popularity continues today.
