If you've got preschoolers, you may already be familiar with the Australian animated TV series Bluey. If not, you should check it out. The International Emmy Kids Award-winning show revolves around a curious, energetic six-year-old Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) puppy named Bluey and her adventures with her younger sister Bingo (a Red Heeler puppy), as well as her dad Bandit and mom Chilli. Plenty of other characters representing various dog breeds join in the fun too. One interesting aspect of the Bluey series is that the child characters are voiced by children of the program's production crew! A central theme is the influence of a supportive family, but other positive messages abound.
