El Chavo
El Chavo (El Chavo Del Ocho, Spanish for The Kid From the [apartment] 8) is a Mexican television show that has gained a great deal of popularity in Latin America, as well as in Spain, Brazil, and other countries. It focuses on the adventures and tribulations of the title character, an orphan, played by the series' creator, Roberto Gómez Bolaños, and other inhabitants of a fictional apartment building, or as called in Mexico, vecindad.
