In 1962, together with her husband Surendra Bahudar, Andrea Davenport opened the 1st kite shop in the USA. They named it Go Fly a Kite. The success of this kite store led to the opening of other shops across North America, and the company became a distributor and then one of the world's leading kite manufacturers.
