Love Captain Marvel? You'll Love Ms. Marvel!

Ms. Marvel? Do you know Ms. Marvel? If not, it's high time you did, especially if you're a fan of Marvel Comics where this popular character originated. Kamela Kahn, aka Ms. Marvel, is the star of the 2022 live-action Disney+ TV series based on the Marvel Comics and the fourth character to take the name Ms. Marvel. The 16-year-old Pakistani-American from Jersey City, New Jersey, first appears in Captain Marvel #14 and is the first Muslim character to headline her own Marvel Comics comic book. She's a big fan of the Avengers, especially Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel. (As an aside, Carol Danvers was the first character to use the moniker Ms. Marvel back in 1968.) Like Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel gained her powers through Kree technology / genetics, but she struggles to fit in while she gets accustomed to her own, shall we say, unique superpowers (e.g., shapeshifting). The series and the comics are well worth your time, as are the Ms. Marvel action figures, wall murals, and other toys and collectibles bearing her name. Check 'em out!
