Sky Girls

Sky Girls began on August 25, 2006 as an OVA anime by Konami, directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki and animated by J.C. Staff. A TV adaptation ran from July 5, 2007 to January 11, 2008. In the story, the Weapon Of Raid Machines (WORMs), which had devastated the Earth, have been sighted once again, and three young girls are chosen to save the planet from destruction. They help protect Earth against the threat with their flying exoskeletons. In the TV series, a 4th and 5th girl are added.
