The history of the rotary engine, which was temporarily interrupted with the end of production of the RX-7, resumed with the RX-8 which was introduced in 2003. A compact rotary engine was essential in order to embody Mazda's idea of a sports car with four doors and seating. The RX-8, which evolved to suit the 21st century while retaining the image of Mazda's past sports cars, underwent major interior and exterior changes in 2008 and was produced until 2012. It is currently known as the last rotary sports car. TLV-NEO began producing the late model of the RX-8 using new molds in August 2024. The hood can be opened and closed, and the engine cover is removable which allows you to see inside the engine compartment. Ages 14 and up.
