Originally developed by Merle Robbins in 1971, Uno is now a Mattel brand. Named for the word meaning "one" in Spanish and Italian, it's a fun-tastic card game for 2 to 10 players, played with a special deck consisting of 108 cards, four each of the "Wild" and "Wild Draw Four" cards and 25 each of four different colors - red, green, yellow, and blue. Each color set includes one zero, two each of numbers 1 through 9, and two each of the action cards "Skip," "Draw Two," and Uno card "Reverse"… just to make things even more interesting and exciting! Per the pages of the Uno rules, the object of the game is to be the first player to score 500 points. One achieves this goal by being the first to play all of one's cards, thereby scoring points for the cards still held by the other players. But don't search Google for "uno how to play."
